Ace Race Milledgeville 9/20/2008 (FINISHED)

We will have a Discraft Ace Race at Rolling Hills DGC in Milledgeville, GA, on Sept. 27 SEPT. 20. Players can check in from 8:30-9:30, players' meeting at 9:40, and starting time at 10:00. I will be setting up 7 portable baskets, for a total of 18 holes. Holes will be no longer than 220' or so. Cost is $25 per player, which includes a cap, two discs, and a mini. There will also be a buy-in CTP for $5. For five dollars, there will be 5 CTP holes per division, (open and juniors). Email James Powell for the registration form. All money raised will go to the Oak Hill Middle School DG Club for course improvements including 7 more holes by summer 2009.

The Milledgeville Ace Race date has been changed to September 20. Everything stays the same except the date. Come join us for a fun day of disc golf.

Be aware that the cutoff for reserving a spot for the Ace Race is Sept. 5. I have to order the players' packs 2 weeks in advance of the tournament. I need your entry fee by then. I will probably order an extra 10 players' packs, but unless you enter by Sept.5, I can't guarantee your spot. Don't forget your $5 for the CTP's. There will be lots of prizes to give away!

Alright, here it is. The first ever Ace Race tournament in Milledgeville, GA. Sign in, or sign up if you haven't already, will be from 8:30 until 9:30. I will have the course set up by 8:30, so if you want to you can pick up you player's pack early and warmup on the course. The cost is $25, CTP's are free. The 1st place prize is awesome. 10 discs and a bag! That goes for open players, as well as juniors! Players' meeting at 9:40, and we start at 10:00. Don't be late. If you want to preregister, pm me. I ordered about 20 extra players' packs, so come on out for some fun and support Milledgeville disc golf!

I have gotten Domino's to sponsor us w/6 pizzas and Chick-Fil-A's to sponsor us with a large chicken nugget tray. Lunch will be provided after the second round and before prizes are given out!!
