Bag Tag Tournament

We will have the first ever bag tag tournament in Milledgeville on the 14th of September!! These tags are for Milledgeville, and I would like to get an official club started here. Come out and support disc golf in Milledgeville and get in on the competition. We will play one round of 18 holes. We will play 1-11, then 1-6 and finish on 11. Bring your game and see if you can walk away #1! I have 16 tags, so let me know if you can make it.

We played the first ever (as far as I know) bag tag tournament in Milledgeville yesterday. Thanks to all that showed up. (Steven) In a tightly contested tournament, in a gusting wind, Steven edged me out by a score of 66 to 68. Steven has the #1 tag and I am #2. If you are interested, we will try to play a round for tags after the Ace race tournament on Saturday. We played 1-11, then 1-6 and finished on 11. If i can get some help on Saturday, i would consider putting up the additional 7 holes. Let me know if you are interested.

Oh, James, go ahead and tell them it was a tremendous fluke. I'm proud to hold the #1 for a few days, but if you're planning to contest for the top spot any time soon you better plan on playing James.

I forgot I have my dad coming down from Hickory, NC, and my brother Chris and his sons coming from Mississippi for the Ace Race. Team Powell is always there to support disc golf!! The next bag tag challenge will be Sunday, 9/28 at 2pm. Be there!
