have played almost 30 courses now and it is by far the most manicured course of them all. Most that have played it agree it is the cleanest course in GA.
Mostly open but several wooded holes.

I played JWF
We played the Josh last Tuesday. It is extremely clean. Great signage. The par 4s and 5s are very short for the assigned par, even for a sub-300 thrower like me. Take a good look at the course layout map by the first tee and the next tee directions. Several times the course switches back and forth across a little road and can be confusing, at least for the first-timer.
I know you'll love this.......the tees are brush-finished (not smooth)!!
I talked to Ben Kirkland, the park dude responsible for installing the course. I'm sure he can get some sand placed in front of the tees just for you!!??!!
You do have to pay to get into the Parks at Chehaw. Gee, it's a good thing I'm Air Force....I got a discount.
They opened at 0900 (that's 9:00am to you) last week. They've got a good zoo and has ice skating (temporary). Excellent park and day-trip. Too bad you're an asshole, or we'd plan a big group trip back down there.

Chehaw Park, hours of operation
Cornbread,
Here's the Albany site link.
They're open 9-5 except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's day....but only Brian would show up to play on Turkey Day or Christ's B-day and he was probably hungover on 1 Jan!!

Re: Has anybody played here yet?
Hey, Eddy thanks for the info. All that is just stuff coming to a head. It's no big deal. Really it's just fun to get things stirred up every so often. Like I said I work weekends, so if you are off during the week then I'm down. I guess I could put up my asshole cap for a little while. Besides there are a ton of questions that I would have for a guy who had his finger on the button. And you are right I bet I would love a nice big rough finished tee pad.

I played claystone both those days, but in all fairness I live like 2 miles from the gate.
