Macon Disc Golf - Nonprofit
What's up fellow disc golfers. I'm looking for people interested in helping me create a non-profit organization to govern, organize disc golf in the Macon area. I've had several disccussions with Parks and Recreation and they want to support disc golf in Macon with the addition of new courses, however in these current economic times money is tough to come by. I've also talked with several companies and they are restricted to donating only to organizations with a 501c3 status. Therefore it seems to me the best action is to form a non-profit with 501c3 status, the orgainzation will be in charge of bag tag challenges, tournaments and new course construction, including updating Claystone. Who's with me?

What do we need to make this happen?
I'm in and just might be able to round up a few more.

501c3 for me
I'll help out any way I can. Hopefully, we can make the 501c3 an umbrella for all of the MGDGA so that other course start-ups (like Perry) might get more sponsorship interest in the future.
